MOCKTAIL

Colonial Shrubs Shrub and Club

1 1/4 oz. Colonial Shrubs shrub of your choice (adjust to taste)

4 – 5 oz. Club Soda

Fill glass with desired amount of ice, add shrub and pour sparkling water.  Stir well.

BASIC COCKTAILS

Vodka Shrub Fizz

1 oz. Colonial Shrubs shrub of your choice

1 oz. Vodka

3 oz. Seltzer

Fill rocks glass with ice. Add shrub and Vodka. Top with Seltzer and stir.

Shrub Shandy

1-2 oz. Colonial Shrubs shrub of your choice to your favorite Lager or Blonde Ale.

Apple Bourbon

2 oz. Bourbon

1 oz. Colonial Shrubs Apple Shrub or Apple Pie Shrub

1 tsp. raw cane sugar

Half a lemon, quartered

Muddle lemon with sugar in a shaker, then combine Bourbon and Colonial Shrubs Apple or Apple Pie Shrub.  Add ice and shake well.  Strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.

Apple Rum

1 oz. Dark Rum

1 oz. Colonial Shrubs Apple or Apple Pie Shrub

Club Soda to taste

Fill rocks glass with ice. Add Colonial Shrubs Apple or Apple Pie Shrub and Dark Rum. Top with Club Soda and stir.

Cranberry Bourbon

Fill a glass (or Mason jar) with ice. Pour over it:
1 oz. Gin or Bourbon
1 oz. Colonial Shrubs Cranberry Shrub.

Top with Sparkling Water.
Add 3 drops orange bitters, if desired.

Cranberry Rum

1 oz. Rum

½ oz. Grand Marnier

1 oz. Colonial Shrubs Cranberry Shrub 

2 dashes orange bitters (or to taste)

orange twist for garnish (optional)

Place all ingredients (except garnish) in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake well until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish, if you like, and serve.

Cranberry Shrub Margarita

2 oz. Tequila

2 oz. Colonial Shrubs Cranberry Shrub

1 oz. lime juice

1 oz. Triple Sec (or Orange Liqueur)

kosher salt for rimming the glass

Garnishes: thinly sliced limes, lime wedges or fresh cranberries

Cucumber Calypso

1oz. Gin

½ oz. Bitters

1oz. Colonial Shrubs Cucumber Shrub

¾ oz. lime juice

1 sprig mint (garnish)

1 slice cucumber (garnish)

Combine all ingredients into shaker with 5 ice cubes. Shake generously and pour over fresh ice. Garnish
